Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has once again remained strong at the domestic box office, netting Rs 0.72 crore in India. The Siddharth Anand-directed spy thriller recently became an all-time number one in Hindi in India.
On its sixth Wednesday, the film has collected Rs 0.72 crore nett in India, which includes Rs 0.7 crore from Hindi and Rs 0.02 crore from all dubbed versions. The film is currently competing with Ranbir, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhooti Main Makkar which earned Rs 15.73 crore at the Indian box office on its opening day. The Luv Ranjan directorial is expected to gain momentum due to the long weekend.
Sharing the box office figures on his Twitter account, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Pathaan remains steady on [sixth] Wednesday despite reduced screens due to #TJMM release… [6. week] Fri 1.05 kr, Sat 2.05 kr, Sun 2.55 kr, Mon 75 kr, Tue 1.25 kr, Wed 70 kr. Pathaan scored $47.39 million in overseas territories alone, while the net collection in India stands at Rs 537.49 million, which includes Rs 519 million from the Hindi and Rs 18.49 million from the dubbed versions. The total worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 1,040 crore, which includes an Indian gross of Rs 650.50 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 389.75 crore.
Pathaan, also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. The film marks Shah Rukh Khan's return to cinema after his 2018 film Zero.
